We are proud to share the circular economy project presented today in Civitavecchia aboard the Costa Smeralda ship, born from the collaboration between COREPLA - Consorzio Nazionale per la Raccolta, il Riciclo e il Recupero degli Imballaggi in Plastica and Costa Crociere S.p.A., which actively encourages the recycling of single-use PET bottles. Launched in 2024, the initiative has already collected 40 tons of PET, equivalent to about 2 million bottles, which Corepla entrusts to recyclers for transformation into R-PET. F.lli Guzzini uses this material to create new design items, including the #Tierra collection, which return aboard Costa Crociere ships to be used both by passengers and crew members. This initiative raises awareness among citizens and tourists about the importance of sustainability and demonstrates how collaboration between companies can generate tangible results #Sustainabledesign
