This year, the ICC Congress was held in Xi’an (China) from the 22nd to the 26th of October. The work done by the Organizers was tremendous and the ICC gratefully acknowledges the efforts of CSCP (Chinese Society for Corrosion and Protection) and National Key Laboratory of Marine Corrosion and Protection to arrange such a successful Congress. We look forward to meeting you in 2027 in Prague (Czech Republic) for the next ICC Congress!

Today, April 24th, the Corrosion Awareness Day is celebrated. It was founded by the World Corrosion Organization (WCO), of which ICC is a member, and it is intended to raise public awareness about corrosion and corrosion control, to identify common best practices in corrosion management, and to facilitate the provision of corrosion control expertise to governments and industries. Many ICC members have organized important events to underline the relevance of this day, including lectures, contests, and exhibitions. As ICC, in October 2024 we will organize the 22nd International Corrosion Congress, to be held in Xi'an (China) from October 22nd to 26th.
