On Monday 25 November, IRSAP's iGreen Committee organised 2 sessions to raise awareness among its staff on the issue of violence against women. The training session was held by Dr Silvia Baraldi, member of the CEMR (Council of European Municipalities and Regions) Committee for Gender Equality and speaker at the 67th UN Conference on the Status of Women. Afterwards, the cooperative Peter Pan Group Cooperativa sociale presented 'A house for the man’. This project offers psychological support and rehabilitation to perpetrators of violence against women, with the aim of helping them to change and prevent recidivism. It was a great success to bring this issue into our factories and offices, which are part of our daily life. Once again, IRSAP is demonstrating its commitment to its territory and to society by promoting an event that challenges these cultural phenomena in the workplace. The interihotel event, held last week at IFEMA MADRID, gave us the opportunity to reflect from a new perspective on the journey we have embarked on with our Group. The "Materials Lab" installation, curated by Matter, designed by External Reference Architects, and 3D printed by LAMÁQUINA, was the beating heart of the event. It presented the public with a meticulously curated collection of materials and emerging products from the architectural and construction sectors. To showcase these valuable items, Dr. Carmelo Zappulla and the External Reference studio designed an unfinished space, using minimal furnishings to hint at a spatial composition, leaving visitors the opportunity to imagine its boundaries and limits. The production of the bed and table, in particular, gave us the chance to reinterpret 3D printing, materializing the components by celebrating their dimensional constraints. After the experience on so many projects and conversations with Carmelo and his team, design and printing were perfectly aligned, resulting in a series of clean, finely calibrated connections that embraced the methods and limits of 3D printing. This included the use of elegant wooden joints designed according to the principles of design for disassembly. Among the various pieces on display, we also had the chance to sow a new seed of innovation: 3D printing with concrete! This marks a new production line for La Maquina as we embark on an exciting adventure in collaboration with Baumit Group's technology, under the wise guidance of Martin Gutmann. Beyond the event, I had the pleasure of participating in the Visionary Design roundtable, moderated by Mireia Cervera, alongside Jorge Alonso Rodriguez (Chapman Taylor), Paco Álvarez (Niessen), Soledat Berbegal (ACTIU), David Gay (ABSOTEC ® ABSORCIÓN ACÚSTICA), DANIEL DE REPARAZ ARGUESO (Septiembre Arquitectura), and Davide Rampino (Irsap Spa). Finally, a heartfelt thanks to everyone who visited us, to AMBIT - Living Spaces Cluster for organizing and making the event possible. The tenth edition of the Open Factory ended yesterday. On Sunday 24 November, IRSAP once again opened the doors of its Italian factories in Rovigo.    Open Factory is the most important event in industrial tourism and manufacturing culture: an initiative, both live and online, where companies can open their doors and tell their story. It is a precious opportunity to strengthen the bond with communities and their employees, to make people feel that factories are a fundamental element for the future of the country, contributing to the development of society, even in difficult times. In this context, CEO Marco Rossi illustrated the 60 years of IRSAP, from its origins to the present day, talking about sustainability and vision, home comfort, technology and design. More than 90 participants visited IRSAP.
