The G. Verdi Conservatory in Milan is ready to host the first three days of Do Re Milano activities! During this time, ten classes of 3rd and 4th graders from four Milanese schools will dive into the world of music through a guided tour of the Conservatory and its rich history. They will participate in open rehearsals and instrument demonstrations, gaining insight into various musical instruments and they will engage in an interactive music workshop led by Maestro Leonardo Ramadori, designed to inspire creativity. This marks the official launch of the second edition of our project, dedicated to supporting emerging European chamber music artists, enhancing their mobility, and strengthening connections among musicians, cultural heritage, and audiences. Building on the success of the #MERITA project, #MERITAcubed will continue to enhance the visibility and collaboration of talented musicians while fostering sustainability and innovation within the chamber music sector. Over the next four years, we’re excited to support the careers of 56 ensembles, including string quartets and piano trios, through concerts, artistic residencies, and showcases. The Do Re Milano project creates pathways of discovery through cultural sites, using music to transform them into creative spaces. Through active participation, children are able to discover their passions and nurture creativity, imagination, and emotional expression.
