Leonardo is an European project whose main objective is to develop an affordable, safe, easy to manage and cheap to maintain electric micro-vehicle. The ambition is to provide a micro-vehicle that constitutes a real alternative to the use of cars in the city, offering citizens a comfortable means of transport, with a sufficient and modular range of autonomy and eliminating all the problems that limit the use of other micro-vehicles. Questo Lunedì si è svolto l’evento finale del Leonardo Project a Palermo, una delle città che ha ospitato il pilota del progetto. Il progetto Leonardo, che ha ottenuto un finanziamento di 2 milioni di euro, ha visto la collaborazione di 9 partner europei, tra cui centri di ricerca, aziende industriali e tecnologiche, e università, provenienti da 5 paesi, con l'Università di Firenze come coordinatore. Iniziato il 3 marzo 2021, il progetto è durato 36 mesi. Esco Mobility ha avuto un ruolo determinante nel progetto in quanto si è occupata della gestione logistica, della manutenzione e della supervisione tecnica dei pilot del progetto. Ringrazio tutti i partner coinvolti e un sentito grazie anche a Sicindustria per aver ospitato l’evento finale.
