We brought together partners, customers, and distributors from all over the world for our 100th anniversary. 🎉 More than 500 guests came to Bolzano to meet the Loacker family and the entire company team, and to celebrate these 100 years together. A unique opportunity to pay tribute to the company’s success story and to reflect on the factors and values that have brought it this far. 🤝 One day was dedicated to visiting our factory in Heinfels, East Tyrol (AT), both the production area and the renovated "World of Goodness" (Loacker Café and Pastry Workshop). The tour was followed by a cable car ride to the Plan de Corones, where, at sunset, all the guests took part in a spectacular dinner at the Lumen Museum, inspired by the milestones and values of Loacker and created by Chef Norbert Niederkofler. Another day was dedicated to leisure time and business meetings, followed by the grand gala dinner held in Bolzano’s Stadthalle. The famous Italian journalist and writer Federico Buffa hosted the evening and recounted the history of Loacker, together with Ulrich Zuenelli and Andreas Loacker, and with the participation of Christine Loacker-Zuenelli. We are truly grateful: the client event was a resounding success, filled with joy, emotion, and a shared appreciation of Loacker's rich journey and unwavering commitment to quality. The Loacker’s "Sustainable Vanilla Supply Chain Project" has made significant strides in improving the quality of life for local communities while preserving the environment. 🌿 What have we done? 🔹 Ensured fair prices for vanilla producers through direct purchasing. 🔹 Built a medical dispensary and expanded the elementary school in Marofototra, one of the Madagascan villages where the farming community lives. 🔹 Distributed energy-efficient stoves: these have reduced wood consumption by around 50% compared to traditional local cooking methods, helping to conserve local forests. 🔹 Organised training courses with the NGO Adesolaire on environmental issues and diversification of activities to raise the awareness and skills of the local population and improve the sustainability of their farming practices. 🔹 Facilitated the creation of a cooperative to empower local vanilla producers. Local community stars in Loacker's 100th anniversary celebrations ⭐ Yesterday morning, we met a group of journalists from the local media at the Loacker Café in Bolzano's Piazza Walther to present the initiatives for our upcoming 100th anniversary. It was a wonderful opportunity to review the milestones in Loacker's history and to find out what initiatives are planned in the region. We are proud to be part of the South Tyrolean community and look forward to celebrating this special anniversary with a series of initiatives that will involve all of us and our neighbors. From the renewed collaboration with South Tyrolean winter athletes, to a multi-day event hosting hundreds of clients and partners from around the world in our beautiful region. For that we launched a urban art project 'in collaboration with the street artist Alessandro Etsom, who perfectly represents the idea of a “good rebel” who decides to act with positivity and dedication, bringing beauty where it is most needed. 🎨 Three murals in Milan - on Via Angelo Inganni, Via Bernardo Rucellai and Via Alberto Cavalletto - depict lively and playful scenes inspired by the landscape of the Dolomites and our love of nature.
