This week is the European Mobility Week, an annual attempt to bring the cities closer to a more sustainable mobility. Siracusa, our hometown, has about 30km of bike lanes which is a lot for a Sicilian town. Of course our founder, Iris, commutes to work by bike as much as she can using our bike lanes. Being an Operator for Active and Sustainable Tourism we want to live by example; try to protect our territory and explore it in a gentle way. The opening ceremony was attended by vicemayor Edy Bandiera, companions, industry colleagues, friends, and family to congratulate Iris Marischi and partner Giuseppe Mangiafico on their new venture. The Italian-Austrian collaboration with partners Clemens Foisner and Birgit Rada-Tomasin ensures a vast network and professionals in the fields of tourism and startups. In the future, Iris Marischi will bring her long-standing experience as a travel professional to offer tours distinguished by their individual touch and enthusiasm for Sicily.
