https://lnkd.in/d8vjx2Dr Our prospective multicenter registry study published in European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE) journal Endoscopy International Open shows that PuraStat is a safe and effective hemostatic agent both for bleeding control and for bleeding prevention after different operative endoscopy procedures. * Four hundred and one patients enrolled (91 treatments for active bleeding and 310 preventive applications) * In 43.4% of cases, PuraStat was the primary treatment modality. * Hemostasis of active bleeding was achieved in 90 of 91 patients (98.9%). * In 30-day follow-up 3.9% patients in whom PuraStat was used for prophylaxis had a bleeding event compared with 7.7% after hemostasis. * No AEs related to the use of PuraStat were reported. The first edition of Endocollege has concluded! This event was a live interactive course involving 15 external participants (10 gastroenterologists and 5 specialized nurses). All participants had the opportunity to interact directly with the operators in the endoscopy rooms during 20 endoscopic procedures (pancreatoscopy, cholangioscopy, ESD, Z-POEM, EUS-guided LAMS placement, FTRD, radiofrequency ablation, diagnostic and therapeutic EUS, motility disorders... and much more).
