“Questo film è memorabile? Se sì, allora lo vogliamo in concorso”. Così Giulio Base, neodirettore del Torino Film Festival, ha raccontato oggi il principio cardine che ha guidato la scelta dei film in competizione alla 42esima edizione del TFF. E tra i film memorabili c’è il nostro “The Prompt”, corto sperimentale di animazione con immagini, movimenti di camera e voci generati con Intelligenza Artificiale, scritto e diretto dal nostro Francesco Frisari. Lo annunciamo con grande orgoglio, esordendo nel prestigioso Torino Film Festival con il primo lavoro della nostra neonata Fantomatica.ai, che qui lancia un progetto innovativo, con l’Intelligenza Artificiale protagonista, perché è sia strumento che protagonista del racconto. Ma prima di tutto “The Prompt” è un film basato su una forte traccia narrativa, una storia sulle storie, un film di fantascienza speculativa che ragiona in maniera sarcastica sui rischi delle tecnologie, per mostrare come siano gli stessi rischi della natura umana. Perché al fondo delle nostre invenzioni ci sono le nostre storie, il nostro modo di immaginare noi stessi e il mondo. E questo vale ancor di più per le AI, che sulle nostre storie sono state addestrate. ❤️ Elevating Tomorrow: MIAT’s Visionary Masterclass for Young Innovators ❤️ I’m beyond excited to share a groundbreaking milestone— at MIAT | Multiverse Institute For Arts & Technology we just launched a world-first Masterclass designed specifically for children aged 8 to 14, focusing on the most advanced immersive and emerging technologies, alongside #GenerativeAI. In an all-encompassing, hands-on experience, combining #XR and Gen AI experiences, fast creative design thinking and world creation with Lego, and interactive lectures, these young minds explored the future of #storyliving. We delved into everything from XR, #motioncapture, projection mapping, #holograms, #spatial computing, Gen AI, and immersive storytelling to #worldbuilding within #virtualworlds and #gaming platforms. They participated in a creative thinking design workshop, creating immersive stories using #LEGO innovation theory reengineered for worldbuilding, attended interactive lessons, experienced #VR, #AR, #MR, #360filming, asked thought-provoking questions, and learned how to ethically and creatively use Gen AI. For the first time globally, we are positioning children not just as users of technology, but as immersive creators who harness its potential with purpose and imagination at the forefront. This week, MIAT made history with a Masterclass for kids aged 8 to 14, diving into immersive tech and AI! 🌍✨ They engaged in a FAST Thinking Design Workshop, creating immersive stories using LEGO innovation theory re-engineered for worldbuilding, attended interactive lessons, experienced Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Mixed Reality (MR), 360 and 180 filming, asked thought-provoking questions, and discovered how to ethically and creatively use Gen AI. 🤖 The entire day was designed and led by MIAT’s CEO and founder, Elisabetta Rotolo I MBA , an international expert in Spatial Computing, AI, Web3, immersive storytelling, XR, Virtual World, immersive arts, strategic and brand management, and a member of the Ethical Committee on AI in Turin. A standout feature of the MIAT Masterclass is our human-centered approach to emerging technologies and Generative AI.
