It was a pleasure and an honor to be given a very warm reception by the Milestone Medical team yesterday on Day 3 of the IAP Congress in Cancun, led by Diego Marsan the Milestone Latam Area Manager who had heard about me and DKL from his counterparts in Italy at the Milestone HQ. Milestone is the worldwide leader in providing innovative systems to help pathologists with technologies for same-day diagnostic results in Histopathology. I first got to know about Milestone at MedLab Dubai in February 2024 where I met the President as well as the CEO who gave me a very comprehensive and in-depth introduction about the Milestone advanced technologies for Histopathology that led me to acquire the top of the range most advanced and latest Milestone equipment for our new innovative and distributive lab venture @DKLDrKalebi Labs. I’m proud to note that DKL is the first lab in the region to acquire many of the state-of-the-art latest Milestone equipment including the Rosai Grossing Station and Magnus Lean Continuous High Throughput Tissue Processor that place our Histopathology lab to be able to offer same day latest next day diagnosis for biopsies. The lab setup / optimization is ongoing following the installation last week and we look forward to revolutionizing Histopathology services in Lenya and the region combining with the advanced Automated Tissue Staining / Cover Slipping and Digital Pathology that we’ve established at our homegrown greenfield DKL central referral lab.
