Let’s celebrate one year of MULTICLIMACT! 🤝 For those just joining us, MULTICLIMACT is a collaborative European project tackling natural and climatic hazards head-on. From floods to heatwaves, our mission is to develop innovative tools to protect communities, ecosystems, and infrastructure across Europe. ✅ In just one year, we’ve planned and designed 18 tools to predict, prepare for, and respond to climate risks. We strengthened collaborations across Europe to ensure these solutions are practical, impactful, and ready to tackle real-world challenges. 🛠️ What’s next? We’re entering an exciting new phase where we’ll develop and test these tools on four demo sites in an iterative process. RINA at the Built4People 2nd Cluster Event! 🏗️ Two days ago, RINA participated in the Built4People 2nd Cluster Event, a collaborative initiative focused on advancing sustainable urban development. 🌍 The CMCC Foundation - Centro Euro Mediterraneo sui Cambiamenti Climatici recently held its first Climate Resilience Institute meeting in Sassari, gathering over 200 experts to discuss climate impact assessment. The event featured groundbreaking presentations, including results from the MULTICLIMACT project on resilience indicators for built environments, addressing risks like extreme heat and heavy rainfall. 🌱 One standout moment was the CMCC Data Competition, where a winning team developed a prototype combining water demand for agriculture and tourism in Sardinia, using REMHI's #dataclime platform.
