It was a special day last week at Nordmeccanica as we received the visit of Fabrizio Trinchero. Fabrizio (Dow Chemical - retired) is a longtime friend of Nordmeccanica and particularly of Antonio Cerciello. Fabrizio and Antonio have been the main promoters of the Symbiex-Duplex One Shot project. A unique patented concept of adhesive chemistry and machine design that allows to shorten the curing time in a solvent less lamination job down to "90 minutes to slitter". Last day at Pack Expo Chicago. Great show and great audience. Our customers have been interested in our entire product line but mainly in the innovations Nordmeccanica presented in 2025. Artificial Intellingence got the attention. AI Job Set-Up is the first ever application of AI to a converting job set-up. SL-Ngen, the entirely digital evolution of the Nordmeccanica proprietary 5 rollers coating head for solvent less adhesives, allowing in this new release for completely hands off coating station set up has been a topic of nterest. The largest number of presentations to customers has been about CWM, a technology developed in cooperation with Nordson-NDC. A Coating Weigh Management system that allows for process and quality monitoring not just on Solvent Less adhesives but on every application in Coating and lamination regardless of the technology of the coated compound. Last day at Pack Expo International. It was a great show. Customer attention has been focused on our entire product line but as well this was the first opportunity to show to the Amriecan market the industry changing innovations introduce this year by Nordmeccanica. Artificial Intelligence has captured the attention. The first ever application of AI to job set up. The full digital set up of the 5 rollers coating head for solvent less adhesives, the natural evolution of a technology proprietary to Nordmeccanica allowing in this new release for full hands off station set-up. The highest interest was collected by CWM. The Coating Weight Management system developed in cooperation wth Nordson-NDC that reached unprecedented levels of process minitoring. Not only Coating Weight in Solvent Less but process and quality variables monitoring all all coating and lamination applicaton.
