Oggi abbiamo partecipato al seminario del progetto Agree CAP promosso da Kyoto Club presso l'Istituto "Bachelet-Galilei" di Gravina in Puglia. Una giornata divulgativa in cui si è parlato di sviluppo dell'economia rurale e di agricoltura 4.0, tra nuove competenze e utilizzo delle tecnologie. Planetek Italia, in qualità di Società Benefit, abbiamo partecipato con piacere, contribuendo alla discussione con un punto di vista "spaziale". La nostra esperta Francesca Albanese ha potuto, infatti, mostrare in che modo i satelliti ci aiutano a rendere più efficienti e sostenibili le attività in agricoltura e nella mitigazione degli effetti dei cambiamenti climatici. In particolare, Francesca ha mostrato alcuni esempi di utilizzo del monitoraggio satellitare: dalla forestazione in Arabia Saudita, al monitoraggio dei mitili nel mediterraneo, o i progetti ESA per il supporto all'irrigazione in egitto.
