To mark the Global Whales Day, celebrated this week, #PradaGroup and UNESCO Ocean unveil the new visual for the next #SEABEYOND 2025 events. The image features the majestic whale, a symbol of the ocean. As part of its ongoing commitment to ocean preservation, on April 3, 2025, the SEA BEYOND Ocean Literacy Center will open in Venice, the first permanent center dedicated to ocean literacy in Italy, on the island of San Servolo; SEA BEYOND will have an active presence at the Third United Nations Ocean Conference, which will take place in Nice from June 9 to 13, 2025 and from October 10 to 19, 2025 SEA BEYOND will take over Prada Rong Zhai, the historic residence located in the heart of Shanghai, featuring community events to engage citizens in ocean conservation. On February 13th, 2025, #PradaGroup and UNESCO Ocean gathered at the Grand Amphithéâtre of the Institut océanographique, Fondation Albert Ier, Prince de Monaco for a special evening dedicated to ocean literacy with the screening of the documentary "Kindergarten of the Lagoon", which highlights the inspiring program that connects preschoolers in Venice to the ocean and the Venetian Lagoon through outdoor learning experiences. On a rock sits a handbag. A white Miu Miu Wander bag. Upon close inspection, though, we see it’s dirty, beaten up, weathered with time. What has this handbag been through? And how did it end up here, alone? In “Autobiografia di una Borsetta”, we watch and listen to this handbag recount its life story, from birth to old age. It’s a life spanning a multitude of discrete socially encoded spaces — ultramodern factory, sprawling Italian villa, impoverished urban peripheries — and a spectrum of owners, from privileged teenage daughter to working class assassin. In this story, the Wander bag is the silent main character around which contemporary Italy teams with joy, sadness, desperation and desire. #PradaGroup announces the appointment of Silvia Onofri as Chief Executive Officer of the Miu Miu brand, effective from February 26th, 2025. Silvia Onofri began her career at Bulgari. She then assumed roles of increasing responsibility at Bally, rising to the position of CEO EMEA and then Chief Commercial Global Wholesale. In 2023, she joined VF Corporation as Brand President for Napapijri, leading the transformation and repositioning of the brand. She holds a master’s degree in economics from La Sapienza University in Rome, with postgraduate studies at the London School of Economics and Greenwich University.

First adventure of 2025 for Kindergarten of the Lagoon! Yesterday, the little explorers embarked on an exciting journey to uncover the hidden green heart of Venic, arriving at Le Vignole, where through play and discovery, they deepened their connection with nature and learned about the unique bond between the city and its lagoon.
