#SAS #TravelSecurity #SecurityServices #Pakistan: - Security Forces Successfully Thwart Infiltration Attempt in North Waziristan In a significant counterterrorism operation, Pakistan's security forces neutralized three militants of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) during an attempted infiltration along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. - Key Details The military’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), reported that the infiltration attempt was detected in the Hassan Khel area of North Waziristan District. After surrounding the group, security personnel engaged in an intense exchange of fire, successfully eliminating the threat. - Call for Responsibility Pakistan reiterated its call for the interim Afghan government to ensure effective border management and prevent the use of Afghan soil for terrorist activities. This comes amid a spike in cross-border violence and tensions regarding the Durand Line, the 2,640-kilometre border established in 1893. - Rising Terrorism Trends According to a report by the Centre for Research and Security Studies (CRSS), fatalities linked to terrorist violence have surged by 90% in the third quarter of 2024, with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan accounting for 97% of the casualties. - National Counterterrorism Measures In response, the federal cabinet launched Operation Azm-e-Istehkam, a comprehensive national campaign under the National Action Plan, aiming to secure borders and eliminate terrorism. A policy shift has also been implemented to enforce stricter international laws at the borders with Afghanistan, targeting both militants and smuggling networks. This operation underscores Pakistan's ongoing commitment to safeguarding its sovereignty and eradicating terrorism while navigating complex regional dynamics. #Investigations #Intelligence #Securityservices #Executiveprotection #Securitymanagement #Travelrisk #Travelsecurity #Riskanalysis #Securitylogistic For info: S.A.S. investigations and security Phone: +39 0463 901545 Web: www.sasinvestigation.com Mail. info@sasinvestigation.com

#SAS #TravelSecurity #SecurityServices #Pakistan: Mass Protests in Islamabad Demand Release of Imran Khan Thousands of supporters of former Prime Minister Imran Khan defied a government-imposed lockdown and ultimatums, reaching the heavily fortified D-Chowk in central Islamabad to demand his release. Tragic Losses Amid the Protests The march, which began Sunday, has claimed at least six lives, including a police officer and security personnel. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party reported the deaths of two supporters and injuries to dozens during clashes with police. A Capital in Lockdown For three days, Islamabad has been under strict lockdown. Major highways and roads were barricaded with shipping containers, concrete walls, and heavy security presence. Mobile data services were suspended in several areas to limit communication among demonstrators. Clashes Escalate On Tuesday, protesters clashed with security forces, breaching barricades to reach D-Chowk, located in Islamabad's “red zone.” Despite the government's measures, the PTI-led protest has continued to gain momentum, highlighting the growing political tensions in Pakistan. This demonstration underscores the deep divisions in the nation’s political landscape and the determination of supporters advocating for Mr. Khan’s release. #Investigations #Intelligence #Securityservices #Executiveprotection #Securitymanagement #Travelrisk #Travelsecurity #Riskanalysis #Securitylogistic For info: S.A.S. investigations and security Phone: +39 0463 901545 Web: www.sasinvestigation.com Mail. info@sasinvestigation.com

#SAS #TravelSecurity #SecurityServices #Pakistan: On Thursday, a Pakistan Army officer and a soldier were martyred during a security operation in Harnai district, where at least three terrorists were neutralized. According to a press release by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was launched in response to reports of terrorists planning attacks on innocent civilians in the area. Under the leadership of Major Muhammad Haseeb, security forces swiftly mobilized to secure the region. “Our troops effectively engaged the terrorists at their location, eliminating three of them,” the ISPR stated. However, during the operation, an improvised explosive device (IED) detonated on the lead vehicle of the security forces. As a result, Major Muhammad Haseeb and Havildar Noor Ahmed, displaying extraordinary courage, embraced martyrdom in the line of duty. The ISPR emphasized that Pakistan’s security forces, with the support of the nation, remain resolute in their mission to prevent any attempts to disrupt peace, stability, and development in Balochistan. The sacrifices of brave soldiers like Major Haseeb and Havildar Noor Ahmed only strengthen their commitment to safeguarding the country. #Investigations #Intelligence #Securityservices #Executiveprotection #Securitymanagement #Travelrisk #Travelsecurity #Riskanalysis #Securitylogistic For info: S.A.S. investigations and security Phone: +39 0463 901545 Web: www.sasinvestigation.com Mail. info@sasinvestigation.com

#SAS #TravelSecurity #SecurityServices #SriLanka: Julie Chung, the U.S. Ambassador to Sri Lanka, clarified that the U.S. Embassy has not issued a travel ban on Sri Lanka but has advised against travel to Arugam Bay due to a credible threat of an attack on tourist hotspots. This advisory, issued by the U.S., Russian, British, and Australian embassies in Colombo, restricts travel for embassy personnel to the area. Chung emphasized her duty to ensure the safety of American citizens, explaining the “duty to warn” policy, which mandates sharing security threats with embassy staff, U.S. citizens, and the host government, following a “no double standard” approach. #Investigations #Intelligence #Securityservices #Executiveprotection #Securitymanagement #Travelrisk #Travelsecurity #Riskanalysis #Securitylogistic For info: S.A.S. investigations and security Phone: +39 0463 901545 Web: www.sasinvestigation.com Mail. info@sasinvestigation.com

#SAS #TravelSecurity #SecurityServices #Pakistan: From January 1 to October 30, 2024, Pakistan saw over 1,000 deaths and numerous injuries in terrorist attacks, concentrated mainly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Balochistan provinces. Here is an overview of the attacks and involved organizations, broken down by region: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP): TTP was the primary group in KP, conducting ambushes, suicide bombings, and attacks on security forces. In May, an ambush in Kurram district left seven security personnel dead, escalating instability. ISIS-Khorasan (ISIS-K): ISIS-K carried out several bombings and suicide attacks, particularly in crowded areas near the Afghan border, aiming to destabilize KP by targeting both civilians and security forces. KP witnessed a 77% increase in violence compared to 2023, with civilians comprising 66% of all casualties in this region. Balochistan Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) and Baloch Liberation Front (BLF): These separatist groups escalated their attacks on government and strategic infrastructure, including the Gwadar port, and targeted non-local workers. A high-profile attack in Musakhel in August led to the execution of 23 workers, marking a peak in ethnic tensions. Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP): Though primarily active in KP, the TTP expanded its activities into Balochistan, executing several attacks. Jaishul-Adl (Iran-based): Suspected of involvement in some Balochistan attacks, Jaishul-Adl’s presence has added further complexity to the security landscape in this province Sindh and Punjab Sindh experienced a 47% increase in attacks; however, these incidents were fewer in number and impact compared to KP and Balochistan. Punjab, meanwhile, saw isolated incidents of sectarian violence, including the assassination of an Ahmadi doctor, though the overall impact remained relatively low. Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) Typically more stable, GB faced renewed threats this year with terror alerts against possible TTP activities, notably following a suicide attack killing five Chinese engineers working on the Dasu Dam project. Overall Impact and Group Involvement The majority of deaths in 2024 were attributed to the TTP, ISIS-K, and BLA, responsible for over 82% of all terrorism-related fatalities across Pakistan. These groups increasingly targeted civilians and security forces, shifting away from direct military targets and exacerbating civilian impact. This overview underscores an increase in ethnic and sectarian violence, as well as the government’s ongoing challenge in maintaining security in border areas, particularly in KP and Balochistan #Investigations #Intelligence #Securityservices #Executiveprotection #Securitymanagement #Travelrisk #Travelsecurity #Riskanalysis #Securitylogistic For info: S.A.S. investigations and security Phone: +39 0463 901545 Web: www.sasinvestigation.com Mail. info@sasinvestigation.com
