#COP29 has concluded with a key agreement: a pledge of $300 billion a year by 2035 to support climate change mitigation in developing nations. Halfway through the second week of #COP29, criticism over the conference's environmental impact has quickly emerged. One of the most striking paradoxes of COP events is at the forefront once again: the sheer number of participants flying in from all corners of the globe generates substantial carbon emissions.
