The 2023 SPE Europe Energy GeoHackathon is aimed at educating and disseminating knowledge on how Data Science applications can support Geothermal Energy Developments and drive the Energy Transition. The focus of this year's edition is addressing the challenges in geothermal energy development, particularly in the realms of seismic inversion and facies classification. These techniques are pivotal for comprehending subsurface conditions and reservoir attributes.
