Along with the base, spindle head, guides, tailstock, and chip conveyor, the carriage and its control panel have also been installed. The installation of the new operating center here at Ismec - lathe Tacchi FTD/C 1.600 x 14.000 132H CNC - is proceeding smoothly ➡️ The machine is set to be ready and operational starting from next January. Equipped with Siemens 840D numerical control, a capacity of 150 tons on the base and a length of 14 meters between the centers, it will be the largest lathe among others in our manufacturing plant. This will allow Ismec to grant more requests and address gaps in the market for heavy precision mechanics, offering a range of services and solutions wider than ever before!
