We’ve just returned home from the 2025 #NaplesWinterWineFestival and we’re ecstatic to learn that the 11th annual online auction for charity was a terrific success! Being one of the very few Italian wineries present at the event was a great privilege for us — we are very grateful to have been able to represent the great landscape of vintners of Italy. “The Sicilian Legacy of Tasca d’Almerita”, a dreamlike trip featuring exclusive tours, stunning landscapes, and Tasca d'Almerita's finest wines and hospitality, was among the lots to be auctioned off at the record sum of 550,000 dollars. All the proceeds from the auction will be devoted to the #NaplesChildrenandEducationFoundation directly supporting the children of Collier County. We very much look forward to welcoming to Sicily the generous donors! We're really excited and honored to be part of the 2025 #NaplesWinterWineFestival and its Online Auction! Recognised as one of the most successful charity wine auctions in the U.S.A. by Wine Spectator, the event brings some of the world's finest vintners and chefs together with wine collectors and philanthropists in the charming settings of Naples, Florida. Among them Alberto Tasca was invited along with his son Alessandro to represent the legacy of Tasca d'Almerita as well as the longstanding history of wine making in Italy. Proceeds from the Festival are in support of the Naples Children & Education Foundation, with the commitment of improving the physical, emotional and educational lives of at-risk and underprivileged children in the area. Nel 2017, a dieci anni dalla nascita di Tenuta Tascante, abbiamo piantato delle viti di Carricante nelle vigne di Contrada Sciaranuova. Qui, negli anni, le piante si sono ambientate e la vendemmia 2022 ci ha finalmente regalato le condizioni che stavamo aspettando. Contrada Sciaranuova Etna Bianco: un vino in cui le caratteristiche varietali di freschezza e vibrazione del Carricante si intrecciano con la delicata complessità del legno. [english] 🌋 Welcome to the family, Contrada Sciaranuova Etna Bianco DOC 2022 🥂 Patience and dedication, respect for the Contrada’s history and identity, trust in the interaction between tradition and innovation; these are some of the elements that have contributed to the development of this new project that we are proud to share with you today. In 2017, ten years after the birth of Tenuta Tascante, we planted some vines of Carricante in the vineyards of Contrada Sciaranuova. Here, over the years, the plants have settled in and in 2022 the harvest has finally given us the conditions we were waiting for. Sciaranuova è la Contrada etnea sul versante Nord del vulcano dove nel 2007 è nata Tenuta Tascante. In questa Contrada ricca di storia, da qualche anno lavoriamo a un nuovo progetto nel rispetto dell’identità e della storia di questo luogo. Il risultato? Ve lo sveleremo presto!
