The Molteni Museum unveils Museum 2D, an exhibition curated by Ron Gilad as part of Milano MuseoCity 2025, marking the museum’s 10th anniversary. The exhibition explores the intersection of design and communication within the Molteni Group, showcasing a rich collection of graphic materials, advertising campaigns, and creative collaborations that have shaped the visual identity of Molteni&C, UniFor, Dada, and Citterio. Within this journey, UniFor takes centre stage with a dedicated focus on its graphic evolution—from the early work of Pierluigi Cerri to the latest creative direction by Studio Klass and graphic design by Nicola Matteo Munari. The exhibition layout integrates iconic UniFor products, including the Naòs tables, the CF bookshelf, and the RP partition system by Renzo Piano, which defines the exhibition space. The narrative is further enriched by the work of early photographers such as Gabriele Basilico and Mario Carrieri, as well as contemporary voices like DSL_Studio and Alberto Strada, whose images capture the essence of UniFor’s design and communication evolution. An opportunity to rediscover the power of graphic design in shaping corporate identity. Discover more: https://lnkd.in/dAPNkPvB Molteni&C CITTERIO S.P.A. UniFor’s products and furnishing systems are conceived to meet the needs of an extremely demanding and complex market which must be matched by adequate standards of expertise and manufacturing flexibility. UniFor, a sister company of the Molteni Group, designs and manufactures solutions for the contemporary office. Acting as both manufacturer and design laboratory, UniFor researches and investigates original solutions capable of satisfying specific project requirements: series products and special orders, custom designs and personalized creations. Innovative in terms of form, technology and product type, UniFor products are manufactured using industrial design components with high esthetic and functional content, carefully selected materials and advanced processing methods. Thus the UniFor factory is a place of both design and production, where cutting-edge industrial processes coexist with artisanal know-how and an ability to adapt to the needs of the client. Specialization in large-scale projects, an all-embracing international presence and a close collaborative relationship with the designer have always characterized the activities of the company, which, from the very beginning (1969), has made architectural projects and industrial design the principle focus of its research and development strategies. This approach is also clearly reflected in UniFor’s sponsorship of numerous cultural events on a national and international level.

UniFor is proud to have supported a team of students from the Capstone Project course in the Biomedical Engineering Master’s program at Politecnico di Milano, Italy's leading science and technology university. This unique Capstone Project course offers a select group of fifth-year students a hands-on learning and design experience. Through collaboration with UniFor, these future engineers had the opportunity to undertake an industrial study. Specifically, UniFor supported the students in designing an innovative instrument tray table featuring a passive, quick-adjustment height mechanism driven by a mechanical lever, ideal for environments where electricity may be unavailable or in emergency situations. UniFor is pleased to contribute to the practical training of the next generation of biomedical engineers.
