We are back from the ATMOsphere conference in Prague. Today, we are proud to announce the successful commissioning of another ammonia air-cooled unit, this time at the Agfa facility in Belgium. Agfa is a historic company in the film and imaging industry, producing radiographic and medical imaging materials for healthcare as well as photographic materials for traditional photography. In their production process, chemical reactions require to be cooled by refrigerated glycol fluid at -17°C. The previous 330kW cooling system, powered by a traditional refrigeration plant with a large ammonia quantity, has been replaced by our compact, plug-and-play, low-charge Airmatik unit. Alongside aluminum microchannel condensers, ammonia condensation can also occur in an additional heat exchanger, allowing full heat recovery and water heating at +33°C. This unit offers exceptional versatility, operating as: - a pure air-cooled unit - a hybrid air and water-cooled unit - a pure water-cooled unit On the top of that, the chiller was design to be able to operate also at -30°C. Delivered precharged with oil and ammonia, the unit was commissioned within just two days. This year, we have once again proudly supported our local basketball team, Jadran, in organizing the third edition of the U16 international basketball tournament, the "Zudek No Borders Eurocup 2024." Young players from Italy, Slovenia, Spain, Germany, Hungary, and Turkey competed in a four-day tournament filled with exciting games, where Real Madrid successfully defended their champion title for the third consecutive year.
