The classic definition of "timeless" typically refers to simple, enduring styles that never fall out of fashion. Think navy turtlenecks or blazers, soft cream-colored knitwear, or understated sand chinos and grey double-breasted jackets—pieces that persist precisely because of their understated, often minimalistic (and sometimes boring), appeal. But then there's another category: pieces that are effortlessly modern and expressive, like those designed by Massimo Alba. These designs exude refinement while carrying a distinct vision, making them versatile and wearable for years, and thus truly "timeless."
