The first step in selecting which good Italian wines to drink is reading the label…
Business Development Manager Graphic Art & Industry Print presso OKI Europe Ltd | knowledge: High and Light Production Small Format | Wide Format | Label Printing Market
Saturday, May 4th, OKI took center stage at the "Giornata del Vignaiolo" (Winemaker's Day), an opportunity organized for OKI by our colleague Massimo Zoratti. The event took place at the regional wine bar in Offida, in the former convent of San Francesco. Both Massimo and I had the opportunity to meet with the most important Marche wine producers, who were able to evaluate and experience OKI TECHNOLOGY firsthand. An incredible turnout: nearly 1000 visitors! The reason we wanted to give our post a European slant came after the statement by Massimo Palmieri, FIVI Marche (Federazione Italiana Vignaioli Indipendenti) delegate: "In the future, the event will also be held nationally and in Europe, as a valuable moment of reflection on the figure of the winemaker..." I would say long live Italian excellence!! A special thanks to Massimo Palmieri for giving us the opportunity to be one of the sponsors of this important event and above all for being able to interview Letizia Cossignani, Vice Delegate of the FIVI Marche association. A very interesting interview that we will share in the next post. 🍷✨ #OKIEurope #OKIPro1050 #TonerBianco #StampantiOKI #StampaEtichette #Premium #StampaOnDemand #Personalizzazione #Vino ##FIVIMarche #Vignaioliindipendenti

The price of vineyard land in Etna has shot up compared to the rest of Sicily due to the global popularity of the wines, according to a leading producer in the region. Vineyard land prices have become so high in Etna now compared to the rest of Sicily. One hectare of land in Sicily costs around €20,000 to €25,000 on average, while 1ha on Etna costs between €150,000 and €250,000 – so ten times more.

Buon anno a tutti 🎇, and may the 2025 be a year of good health first and foremost and also of success, both personal and professional. This time of the year is when some statistical data about #italianwine 🇮🇹🍷 and its performance start to come out and definitely (for me), fascinating to read and share. In comparison to 2023 (first nine months of the year), data tells us that Veneto 🥇 is the leading exporting Italian region with 2.1 billion euros revenues and 8.2% growth over the previous year, while the national average was 5.6%. Veneto is the region of wine business, not only hosting Vinitaly and other important wine events, but also the region that has been able to capitalize on both very historically famous wines like, Soave 🥂, Valpolicella 🍷, Amarone 🍷, and also capable of creating great success stories of Pinot Grigio and most of all Prosecco 🍾. But let’s not forget that Veneto is also the region of bottlers (which I am quite sure this business accounts for a good size slice of the total revenues) of many Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, Primitivo and other popular varietals out there. That being said bravi 👏 to al all the folks involved in this success. Following Veneto but nowhere near in second place is Tuscany 🥈 with 908 million euroes in revenues and a solid double digit (10.2%) growth. Third on the podium is Piemonte 🥉 with 848 million euroes and a slight decrease (-0.4%) from the previous year but still quite healthy. And in the order these regions follow - Trentino-Alto-Adige 🏔️ - Emilia-Romagna 🏎️ - Lombardia 🏙️ - Abruzzo 🦅 - Friuli-Venezia-Giulia ✅ - Puglia 🏖️ More to come in the upcoming weeks, for now Happy New Year everyone. #boston #winelover

#vino #mercati #internazionali #blockchain #NFT
