For the fourth Club - Agenzie Estere di Promozione Economica attive in Italia meeting, members of some of the foreign economic promotion agencies active in Italy had the pleasure of being welcomed at MIND Milano Innovation District . Presentations by the district’s strategic partners gave us a deeper insight into the project behind the construction of the largest city built from scratch (1 million m2 with an expected final capacity of around 70,000 people per day), focusing on the extreme dedication to #research and #innovation in the field of life sciences, and the urban development of the city of the future through a good amount of social engagement. The synergic collaboration between #public and #private partners, the network and relations with both national and international entities, and the dedication to scientific education and research make this site a unique example of a developing reality that is already able to generate high added value for the city of Milan, with a strong eye on internationalisation thanks to the will for future collaborations with the excellences of the regional and national territories of which the agencies belonging to the Club are proud representatives. The focus of MIND can be summarised in four pillars that are fundamental today: 1.          #LifeSciences and medical research 2.          #EnergyTransition and mobility 3.          #SmartPlaces and building innovation 4.          #UrbanDigitalisation and the development of new services Our visit ended with a tour of the Bio4Dreams startup incubator and the Human Technopole, which allowed us to take a closer look at the scientific side and learn more about research from a more practical point of view. A special thanks to MIND for accompanying us through part of this project and for welcoming us with insights that we hope will lead to collaborations between Italy and the countries and regions the Club represents.
