The staff was very friendly and they are very helpful, dedicated good people. The area around the place is a bit dodgy though and the experience was quite unique but not bad!

Place is relatively clean and has such good decor. However, I would personally like to complain about the man running the hostel/behind the counter Justin. He was EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful and unkind ever since i checked into the hostel last spring break in march. He constantly gave me and some people an attitude, allowed some people to openly smoke in the rooms. i remember one time i politely asked for more towels/blankets and he shouted at me “NO!” and just blew me off in a huff and left me stunned and upset. absolutely TERRIBLE customer service. I highly recommend, or even DEMAND that he be FIRED so he can no longer treat any other customer like this ever again. otherwise, appropriate action and discipline must be taken!!!!!!! The perfect tranquility place. My wife and I stayed in the "water" room. Very nice place to relax, especially the yard outside. All the staff was friendly and accommodating to all of our needs. (Shout out to hoosville staff ..... Will definitely return

My family and I stayed for 3 days while going to the Everglades on our vacation trip. We all hade a great time. Staff was welcoming and all the guests were friendly; The kitchen very nice, clean and we mostly enjoyed the natural pool. We will definitely visit again

Very dirty and run down. No cooking utensils or pots or pans. Seems like it was mostly for displaced people who needed a few weeks of lodging rather than an actual hostel. No one at the front desk before 10 so if you want anything you have to call the manager and hope. Good luck getting your key deposit back too since no one is there to really help with anything.
