Hotel a 4 stelle popolari a Kuopio

Puijonsarvi is legendary - it had the coolest night club in town in the 1980's :) The hotel has an excellent location near Kuopio's main attractions and the breakfast buffet is maybe the best I've had at this hotel chain. Service is always friendly no matter how busy the house may be.

Nice basic level hotel. Interesting Lapland theme, even I am not sure if it fits so well in Kuopio, but it caused nice and cozy athmosphere. The room (standard) was small and very basic, but clean. The only problem was super low water pressure in the shower in the morning. We had to stop taking shower because there was no water. We reported that at reception so I believe it has been fixed now. The location is perfect, near by railway station and city center. Our room was quiet even if it was on the street side. I would have rated this hotel to have 3 stars based on the quality of the room, but because of good service and exellent breakfast I'll give 4 stars. BTW, we were charged 9 euros more than it was agreed on, but when we reported that, 9 euros were given back and also we received a discount for next stay, so it's ok.

Posto a ridosso del lungo lago che si contraddistingue da belle viste, sentieri x passeggiate, spiagge, campi x diversi sport, locali. Considerato che il centro di kuopio è veramente triste non si può scegliere meglio. Ottime le bici in dotazione gratuita. Ampi spazi arredati in stile nordico molto funzionale ma non freddo. Amplissime le camere. La mia junior suite consisteva in 2 doppie comunicanti con 3 bagni e sauna. Ovviamente i bagni erano alla finlandese, ovvero poco più che dei buchi. I letti comodissimi. Coffe & tea facilities a disposizione. Unico neo della camera la mancanza di armadiature con ripiani e cassetti, mentre invece ci sono gli apprendimenti a vista (essenzialità nordica). Abbondante e varia la colazione anche se nessun piatto provato mi è parso eccelso, comunque niente da ridire. Prezzo decisamente basso x gli standard locali ! Senza dubbio la scelta da fare a kuopio
