Where do I start? I would give it a zero rating if I could. Bedding: My blanket and sheets had a disturbing yellow stain on it, unfortunately did not realize until the end of my stay. I had terrible breakouts each morning; I’m allergic to dust mites so I’m sure my bed was covered in them. I showered thoroughly each night, but it wasn’t until I left that the itching and rashes started to go away. Cleanliness: So much dust was found: around the finger piece to open/close the bathroom sliding door on top of closet clothes bar, toilet paper holders, corners and crevices of surfaces in bathroom and room, etc. Stains on walls and carpets. And I must note again the bed , as mentioned above, had unforgiving yellow stains near the head of the bed and I cannot stress enough that I was extremely itchy abs broke out from the bed. Staff: Was greeted by a nice, but not sanitary gentlemen in the evening. Meaning he was kind, but would constantly rub his nose with his hands while typing on the keyboard and activating the room cards. Additionally after activating each card, he strangely held each card to his stomach. Other things to note: - Sink was appalling. It’s a light pressured small water faucet. Terrible water flow, and the functionality of the knob was not ideal. - TV/remote did not work properly. Once I used the “guide” button, it was game over. It would not stop automatically scrolling down itself and I couldn’t exit the guide for the life of me. Even turned off and unplugged tv in hopes of restarting. Turned on to the down-scrolling guide page, even after a while day. - USB port did not function, and very little charging options near the bed. Overall, I was extremely uncomfortable during my stay here at the Hampton by Hilton in McKinney. I typically enjoy getting away and staying at hotels, but I honestly could not wait to leave this place because it was just so dirty and poorly maintained. Moreover, I’ve read the reviews and comments left by the Guest Relations Manager. I’ve seen the same one of two copied and pasted response templates, lightly edited to fit the content to respond to a complaint Scroll down and see for yourself if you’d like. It genuinely does not seem management takes feedback that seriously. Do yourself a favor, just go elsewhere. I do not recommend at all.

The hotel was lovely. The room was very clean and provided all of the basics. The staff was extremely accommodating and went to Great Lengths to make our stay comfortable. The front desk person actually helped my brother-in-law get a donut on his car after he blew out a tire. I saw consistent acts of kindness and consideration. Would very highly rate their staff. Housekeeping was efficient and always made sure our towels were replaced as needed and the garbage bags were supplied when requested. Rooms for able to maintain a cool environment despite very high temperatures outside. Internet worked well.

I reserved, confirmed, and paid for a one king handicapped room. I checked in online the day before, and my reservation still showed a king handicapped room. However, the next evening when I arrived at the hotel, the front desk rep was perplexed because her computer showed that her GM had changed my room to a 2-queen non-handicapped room. When a guest books a handicapped room, it is common sense that that guest NEEDS a handicapped room. You cannot arbitrarily change that, especially without notifying your guest so that guest could make other arrangements! That is just so wrong on so many levels! Additionally, the hotel was overbooked, and there was only one room left. Because it was late at night, I had no choice but to accept that room. However, sleeping in my car probably would've been a better choice. The room smelled very musty, which I discovered was because the carpet in the corner by the chair was completely soaking wet. Several of the electrical/USB outlets didn't work. One lamp didn't work. And the bar soap in the bathroom had been used! Disgusting! With two queen beds taking up most of the room, it was difficult to maneuver my walker. Using the restroom was dangerous with no grab bar. I reached out to corporate IHG who simply commented that the local GM would contact me promptly. It's been 10 days and no response from the local GM. Unacceptable!

Had higher hopes with this being a newer hotel..... Check-in.......arrived to hotel around4:30PM (after checkin time). Walked in, no one was at the desk. Stood there almost 10 mins until someone came up - she apologized and said she was talking to someone she hadn't seen in awhile....um, you're working the front desk. Maybe you should make sure your station is manned!? Room - basic room - modern feel, clean. Nothing fancy (which is fine by me) Market cafe store......went downstairs to get a water....again, no one was at front desk...stood there about 5 mins til someone came. Then I felt like I was being a burden to her. Would have probably been longer if the phone wasn't ringing which is the only reason she came out from out back in the first place. Room TV - had issues with Netflix. I logged in no problem, as I do in many Marriott locations. Netflix would only run 1 min max til it just would kick out to the Marriott Bonvoy main menu. Tried 3x, then turned off TV and tried again 2x. Didn't work - 30 secs max on Netflix now. I called the front desk and they sent someone up. The guy barely spoke English, and my lack of Spanish didn't help, but we survived via Google Translate. He messed with the TV and said there was an error and he couldn't fix it. It's now 10pm, and I'm tired and really just want to relax and go to bed! This is a NEW hotel - how are things not working right now!? He told me he would let the front desk know. No call, no apology, no offer of changing rooms so I could watch tv. I ended up watching tv on my phone! There is a beautiful new tv in the room, and I couldn't use it!!! Overall, the hotel is new and clean, but don't have ANY expectations beyond that. I can't explain how disappointed I am with this property, and honestly shouldn't even be under the Marriott name. I have Gold Status with Marriott and have stayed at many Marriott properties. I would NOT stay here again - customer service is SOOO very important, and this place just doesn't have it.

Questo era uno dei migliori Hiltons che ho soggiornato. Ho soggiornato al più alto termine Hilton e il servizio clienti e la facilità di check-in e check-out su questo Hilton è stato il migliore. Tutti erano molto amichevoli e le camere erano estremamente pulite. Ci sono stati molti servizi. Il letto era molto confortevole e un sacco di spazio per il lavoro. Avrei consigliato questo hotel a chiunque si trova in questa zona. Grazie per il grande posto per restare.
