The location is perfect and the resort is in a wonderful place with a nice small functional gym but that’s where the compliments end.
The reception lady when I checked in was on her phone, she was chatting to other guests who were behind me and even served them before she had finished serving me.
Then she gave me room opposite where they keep all the trash and all the trash bags were still outside with the water oozing out of it. I complained and my room was changed but in my new room I found a man’s underwear, dirty floors and dusty surfaces. I decided to say nothing
The cleanliness of the resort needs to be massively improved. The cleaning ladies spend 5 minutes at most in your room mostly removing trash and changing towels. On the third I got so frustrated I actually told them what to do when they came. The hallway outside my door had a watermelon stain that someone had dropped on the first night when I checked in and all along the hallway you see dirty marks on the floor, q-tips, bits of paper etc.
The room had no room service menu and the kitchenette is a waste of space because there is no fridge to keep your drinks cool or stove to make quick things after a day of exploring even though this an apartment style hotel.
There was also a weird bed thing that was in the hallway all week long.
I paid quite a bit for this room and for the price you expect the service to be top notch. I was massively disappointed.
