Homebuilder Survey

Monthly

Our monthly survey delivers the most timely and accurate insights for new home market conditions, capturing feedback from 350+ production homebuilders across the country and representing 18%–21% of new home sales annually. Public builder divisions account for roughly a third of responses, and the balance are production-oriented private builders. Clients typically receive our analysis by the fourth business day of the month.

Our quarterly residential land survey presents data and sentiment from roughly 90 top residential land brokers in 60 metros across the country. US Custom Residential Architecture Index

Quarterly

The US Custom Residential Architecture Index (USCRAI) is a diffusion index reflecting weighted responses of custom architecture firms, which aims to track market conditions for custom residential design services nationwide. In partnership with Residential Design, each quarter we’ll report on project activity (project volume in the most recent quarter vs. the prior year) and near-term activity (project volume growth in the upcoming quarter). The USCRAI also gauges design demand by measuring the overall sentiment of client demand for custom residential design services.
