I was shocked when I saw these images. I love Havre De Pas and was heartbroken to see how it hasn't been looked after over the years. What Marcus Calvani and his team are proposing tomorrow is a solution to this, if his proposition of setting up a charity to look after the lido(like a lot of other successful lidos) is not taken forward the Lido will be closed and all the current facilities stripped out, leaving the site to rot until new tenants can be found. I operate and connect with people with passion, thats have i've always done it and I can see Marcus Calvani and his team at Lido Jersey have that passion and want to make the Lido a fantastic facility. I really hope that one day the Lido is restored and given the attention it deserves.
