With the festive season just around the corner, our thoughts turn to cherished moments with our family and friends. We also get to reflect upon the year as it draws to a close. As always, we say thank you to everyone who helped us to deliver for our clients whilst in turn, enabling us to support our wider community. This year, with your help, we managed to raise an incredible £24,700 for our chosen charities, Jersey Hospice Care and Healing Waves UK at our 10th Prosperity Day.  2024 has fortunately, for us, been a year of sustainable growth. We simply couldn't have achieved this without the great minds of both our brilliant colleagues and our amazing clients, who entrust us to deliver for your respective organisations, thank you. We're looking forward to seeing what 2025 will bring as we continue to focus on how 'trust builds growth' whether this is enabled through productivity, AI or sustainability. Today, we release our very first Gender Pay Gap Report, which we believe is also a first for Jersey's technology sector. Our aim at Prosperity 24/7 is to create a transparent and inclusive culture which provides opportunity for all and we believe that reporting on the Gender Pay Gap is an essential tool to ensure transparency and drive progress.   The gender pay gap reflects more than just unequal pay for the same role; it highlights broader workforce inequalities such as differences in career opportunities, unequal access to higher paying roles, job segregation, and the disproportionate burden of unpaid care work on women. Closing the gap requires addressing these underlying challenges, not merely equalising salaries for similar positions. Prosperity’s report demonstrated pleasing results. While women represent 21% of the workforce, there is significant presence of women in senior positions and pay across the organisation is fractionally more in favour of female employees. Despite the terrible weather yesterday, our corporate padellers were on court for week 3 of the Corporate Padel League at Island Padel. It was intense corporate rivalry against C5 Alliance BDO Jersey. So we were of course delighted to come away with the overall team win with 2 of our pairs winning their games and the third narrowly missing out in their final set.
