Royale Medical Company Limited was founded in 1996 by Dr. Evan Nepaul and his wife Theresa Nepaul on the premise of wanting to provide private medical care within western Jamaica, especially to women. Since opening its doors, the Company has played a pivotal role in the development of the Medical Services Industry in Western Jamaica. Additionally, patients appreciate the compassionate and comprehensive care they receive at its facilities. Fast-forwarding to 2024, the company has expanded its reach by acquiring Winchester Surgical & Medical Institute in Kingston and amalgamating all its subsidiaries (laboratory and imaging services) under one umbrella. The amalgamation between the entities has birthed the genesis of the new name: Royale Winchester Hospital Group.
