Middle East and North Africa Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis MENACTRIMS sponsored three physiotherapists from the Middle East (Egypt and Oman) to perform a 1-month intensive rehabilitation course with emphasis #multiplesclerosis at the Noorderhart MS rehabilitation center and Hasselt University in Belgium. This specialized MS internship, which consisted of courses and hands-on-training, was organized by the Hasselt University MS Center (UMSC). All our physiotherapists had the opportunity to learn from experts in the field of MS rehabilitation and received certificates after passing an exit exam! This experience is invaluable for our physiotherapists, equipping them with advanced skills they will bring back to our region to elevate #multiplesclerosis care and rehabilitation. Additionally, this initiative fosters vital #cultural exchange, enriching both the physiotherapists' approach to patient care and strengthening collaborative ties across borders.
