Established in 1987, Petra Engineering Industries Co. is a leading manufacturer of a wide variety of high quality heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment. By 1994, Petra expanded its line of HVAC equipment utilizing some of the industries most advanced machinery and raw materials to achieve the highest quality standards. Their equipment was quickly gaining recognition in over 20 countries worldwide. To handle the increasing demand for their products, the facilities were expanded and the technology of the products was continually improved. With advent of the new millennium, Petra was designing and manufacturing a large array of quality HVAC equipment to suit all commercial and industrial applications. Their strategic finesse and exceptional products enabled them to enter the US market. Being one of the most competitive and challenging markets, the US symbolized a major milestone of success for Petra. With dedicated drive, Petra continues to export to the US and over 50 countries worldwide. Today, Petra Engineering Industries Co. is a market leader as a designer and manufacturer of sophisticated, high quality commercial and industrial HVAC equipment. The company has grown significantly and today has a facility that is over 300,000 m2 with more than 1500 highly competent technical and managerial employees, and to cope with the increasing demands for Petra’s products Worldwide, Petra has embarked on an expansion program to build a 200,000 m2 production facility at Mafraq – Jordan and a 30,000 m2 facility in Saudi Arabia. Petra will persevere in doing the utmost in terms of innovation and quality achievements to continue providing its customers throughout the world with the comfort and value they expect.

Petra Engineering Industries Co. signed a strategic partnership with Schneider Electric aiming to enhance digital transformation, while also boosting the use of AI technology and its integration into HVAC systems, achieving sustainability, and improving energy efficiency, all within the framework of Schneider Electric's commitment to support Jordan's future vision and increase the volume of Schneider Electric's business partnerships in the Jordanian market. Schneider Electric drives digital transformation by integrating world-leading process and energy technologies, end-point to cloud connecting products, controls, software and services, across the entire lifecycle, enabling integrated company management, for buildings, data centers, infrastructure and industries. In the presence of Sebastien Riez, Schneider Electric NEAL Cluster President, the signing took place at the Petra Engineering Industries Co. factory between Omar Abu Wishah, Vice Chairman of the Board of Petra Engineering Industries Co. And Mohamed Samy, Schneider Electric Levant General Manager. The signing ceremony was attended by a team from Petra Engineering Industries, led by Engineer Mohammad Laham, Manager of Electrical Design and Control Department, alongside representatives from Schneider Electric Jordan. After the ceremony, the Schneider Electric delegation toured Petra's factory to observe the latest technological innovations in manufacturing.
