As part of the 50th-anniversary program celebrating the friendship city affiliation between Osaka and Shanghai, we organized the BPC Roundtable in collaboration with the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce last week. This event coincided with Osaka City Mayor Hideyuki Yokoyama's visit to Shanghai. Under the theme “Initiatives to Promote Healthcare Business”, delegates from Hong Kong, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Jakarta, Shanghai, Ho Chi Minh City, Melbourne, Tianjin, Hamburg, and Osaka came together to explore how we can innovate to meet the needs of aging populations, adopt effective strategies to combat the rise in lifestyle-related diseases, and better prepare for future health crises.
