🍙This year brought many onigiri-related photos again🍙   This is Onigiri Action, where for each onigiri-related photo posted on social media with the hashtag #OnigiriAction, five school lunches are delivered to children worldwide through TABLE FOR TWO International with sponsors' donations. The #MitsubishiChemicalGroup participated again this year as a supporting partner!   Same as last year, employees from not only Japan but also overseas locations in the U.S., Brazil, and other countries participated in this activity.🌎✨ Each location was very active and held various efforts like photo booths, events in cafeterias for serving onigiri to employees, and making and eating onigiri together during lunch.👏   Here is a video of some of this year's photos from the Group.🍙⭐️   We hope that Onigiri Action will lead to big dreams and smiles for the children of the future.

#4DFF2024, Japan’s largest conference on 4D, sponsored by the #MitsubishiChemicalGroup, was held October 23-25, 2024. It was located at the Group’s #ScienceAndInnovationCenter in Yokohama. 🔎📝   Hiroya Tanaka (Professor, #KeioUniversity, Faculty of Environment and Information Studies, Ph. D in Engineering), representative of the conference organizer Special Interest Group of 4DFF (The Imaging Society of Japan), was in charge of designing benches created with the Group’s bioengineering plastic #DURABIO™ using a 3D printer. 🍀   We asked him what he thought of the finished benches. 💁   Prof. Tanaka: “I was surprised they weren’t dirty, contrary to my expectations. I think the rain keeps the dirt off due to the design that utilizes DURABIO™’s surface characteristics. The maintenance-free feature is a great merit for outdoor installations.”   Assistant Prof. Masaki Arai (Project Assistant Professor, Keio University, Graduate School of Media and Governance, participated in designing DURABIO™ benches with Prof. Tanaka): “DURABIO™’s high transparency exhibits its true strength at night. I think items that illuminate the city in terms of public safety and are made of plant-derived materials are appropriate for the future of outdoor space arrangement.
