I am excited to share that Tellus (Acquired by AIP Healthcare) has been acquired by AIP Healthcare, a big name in senior housing in Japan with over 60 investments in Japanese Eldercare Facilities. This acquisition will allow our technology to be developed further, providing opportunities for our work to be utilized in an upcoming, world-changing product. Kevin Hsu is joining AIP full-time as their CTO and moved to Tokyo this October. I have been advising AIP’s team while we transition. I am incredibly proud of what we built at Tellus. Hardware is hard, and harder with a pandemic and chip shortage … even still, we delivered a product that facilities used and loved. We synthesized millions of hours of longitudinal and personalized health data, providing meaningful insights for the elders under our care. Although I’m moving on from Tellus, I’m not moving on from my interests which lie at the intersection of Healthcare and AI. I remain deeply passionate about this space and the need for new services and technology to exist. I am in exploration mode!
