　Stanley Electric establishes a new automotive lamp production and development base in Brazil: Stanley-Angstrom Electric da Amazonia Ltda. For the potential market of motorcycles, and European and US automotive manufacturers in South America, on October 28, 2024, Stanley Electric decided to acquire 75% of the shares in Angstrom Electric Ltda., which has a production plant in Manaus and a technical center in São Paulo. The share transfer procedure was completed on December 1, 2024. 　We aim to expand our share in the overseas motorcycle business by supplying highly competitive lighting products to the motorcycle manufacturers concentrated in the northern region of Brazil, Manaus. To provide timely and high-quality products not only for motorcycles but also for European and US automotive manufacturers targeting South America, we are working on building a system that enables us to handle everything from design and development to production, by leveraging both the existing Stanley Electric do Brazil Ltda. and Angstrom’s production and technical bases. This post introduces the NEW RG series, added to the lineup in December. The new RG series (white/yellow) is available in 0.2W and 0.5W types, respectively. They are highly reliable products compliant with the AEC-Q102 automotive standard. 【Stanley Electric's “Visible Light LEDs”!】 You may not be familiar with the term “visible light LEDs. Generally, light with a wavelength of 380 nm to 780 nm is called “visible light” because it is visible to the human eye, and we call LEDs that emit such light “visible light LEDs". Visible Light LEDs are used everywhere in our daily lives, from lighting in our homes and towns to indicators and backlights in various devices, such as components inside electronic equipment, and even headlamps in automobiles. Stanley Electric has been providing LEDs to customers around the world for more than 50 years since launching red LEDs in 1971. In 1976, we developed the world's brightest red LED (60 mcd), and since then we have continued to develop products and expand applications under the slogan “Department Store of LEDs".
