🌟 𝗛𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗕𝗔 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗞𝗶𝗱𝘀 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰! 🌟 We were thrilled to join 𝗞𝗶𝗱𝘀 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 as a special sponsor in Yokohama, Japan, hosted by the Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan! This event has become a beloved tradition since it began in 2008, offering elementary school students a unique, hands-on experience with science and technology in the automotive industry. This year’s event attracted an incredible 3,600 students and their parents, eager to explore the world of cars and innovation. Our session, “𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗙𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗩𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲? 𝗟𝗲𝘁'𝘀 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗿!” brought the concept of fuel cell vehicles to life, guiding young minds through the principles of sustainable energy. With the help of HORIBA team members from our Corporate Communications, Tokyo Sales, and Yokohama Sales offices, the children explored these ideas through hands-on experiments, crafts, and even a live demonstration of water electrolysis. By using familiar, everyday items, we made complex concepts like fuel cell technology and hydrogen production engaging and accessible. Through these activities, kids could see science and technology as something they can relate to, making the process of learning fun and impactful. Beyond understanding fuel cell technology, our goal was to inspire a lifelong curiosity for science, sustainability, and manufacturing in each child. Events like Kids Engineer are key to encouraging the engineers and innovators of tomorrow, and we’re proud to be a part of it every year.
