In September 2024, the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) reported that Business Email Compromise (BEC) cost organizations $55.5 billion from October 2013 to December 2023, with over 305,000 incidents. In this situation, cybercriminals hacked into an executive's email in an attempt to steal money using malware. They used the stolen information to create a fake transfer request that almost succeeded. Our cybersecurity team quickly neutralized the threat through rapid detection, account lockdown, and system remediation. By implementing multi-factor authentication, advanced endpoint security, and targeted training, we transformed a potential financial disaster into an opportunity for strengthening our resilience. Protect your organization before it's too late. Find out how our cybersecurity solutions can keep your business safe from online threats.
