Many survivors of gender-based violence face significant barriers in accessing critical services, often due to transportation challenges. To address this in Siaya County, the "Guardian Riders" intervention by #CMMBKenya was established, offering not only dependable transportation but also emotional support and guidance to ensure survivors receive timely care. Thirteen carefully selected and verified motorcycle riders, chosen through a structured process, were trained and sensitized on GBV and referral pathways to better support survivors. This compassionate initiative provided safe and reliable assistance to 53 survivors, helping them access essential post-violence care services with dignity and care.
