Charitly Africa is a tech-enabled social enterprise, transforming how aid & charity impact individuals & societies in Africa by enabling individuals & organizations to initiate or adopt causes they believe in, fundraise and efficiently implement their charitable projects anywhere in Africa, from anywhere in the world. We verify, validate and guarantee the authenticity of each project on our platform, facilitate & support fundraising campaigns, work with the project initiators (Captains) in directly implementing the projects and publish detailed audited project reports, accessible to ALL the campaign supporters, who also have the exclusive right to vote online and democratically decide on what to do with any unutilized funds. According to the Annual NGO sector report 2021/22 only 63.6% of the funds raised for charitable causes go towards actual projects implementation. By doing the right things right, Charitly has established efficient and effective processes and guarantee that 85% of the funds raised go towards the actual projects implementation, doing better than the global best practice of 80%. As implementation partners, Charitly works with corporates & individuals to brand, promote and implement exclusively-funded charitable projects, effectively negating the need for individuals to set up NGOs and taking away the costs of maintaining CSR teams in corporates.
