Meet Rose Nyaboke, our Program Senior Technical Advisor. During her morning interview at Sauti Ya Pwani FM, Rose shared valuable insights about cervical cancer awareness. She emphasized the importance of early detection and treatment in preventing cervical cancer, a condition commonly caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). Through the USAID Stawisha Pwani project, we work closely with County Health Management Teams to support quality healthcare services at both facility and community levels. Let's join hands in raising awareness and promoting early screening - because #EarlyDetectionCanSaveLives! #CervicalCancerAwarenessMonth

Ciheb Kenya with funding from U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) through Centers for Disease Control and Prevention works in partnership with county governments and local communities to address the poor access to sexual and reproductive health services and gender-based violence response interventions faced by fisherfolk women. These challenges, worsened by high HIV prevalence, poverty, harmful cultural practices, and low literacy, put women at risk of HIV and cervical cancer. Through joint support supervision with county teams, engagement with opinion leaders, and quarterly stakeholder meetings, CIHEB Kenya is improving service access, quality, and addressing emerging healthcare challenges. #cihebkenya
