About us
Eco Fields Organics is dedicated to sustainable agriculture in Kenya, seamlessly integrating our own organic farms with smallholder producers through a vertical integration model. We specialize in the production and export of premium organic horticultural products, with a particular focus on avocados. We actively champion 5 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), playing a vital role in safeguarding the environment in our own farms and across the regions where our smallholder producer farms are nestled. Our profound mission is to advocate for sustainable, equitable, and ethical agricultural practices in our own farms and also by providing invaluable support to smallholder producer farmers in Kenya during their journey towards adopting organic agriculture methods. Our meticulous traceability system is a source of immense pride, guaranteeing complete transparency and accountability at every stage of the fruit production process. By empowering local farmers with training and resources, we ensure high-quality, eco-friendly produce that meets international standards. Our commitment to sustainability and farmer collaboration not only enhances the quality of our products but also supports the economic and social development of rural communities in Kenya.

Wow.This new agreement marks a significant milestone in the maritime industry's shift toward sustainable fuels, reinforcing Maersk's leadership in environmental responsibility and innovation. By sourcing bio- and e-methanol, you are taking concrete steps to lower greenhouse gas emissions and address the industry's core sustainability challenge, the cost disparity between traditional and green fuels. Rabab Boulos’s call for a global green fuel standard and pricing mechanism underscores the importance of international collaboration to create a fair playing field and accelerate the transition to net-zero shipping. This partnership with LONGi Solar represents a bold commitment to a cleaner future for global trade, setting an inspiring example for others in the industry.Hongera sana!A.P. 🤝Maersk Signs Long-Term Methanol Sourcing Deal for Ocean Fleet 🚢 “Bio- and e-methanol continues to be the most promising alternative shipping fuels to scale up in this decade, and the agreement with LONGi Solar serves as a testament to this. Global shipping’s main net-zero challenge is the price gap between fossil fuels and the alternatives with lower greenhouse gas emissions. We continue to strongly urge the International Maritime Organization’s member states to level the playing field by adopting a global green fuel standard and an ambitious pricing mechanism which the industry urgently needs,” says Rabab Boulos, Chief Operating Officer, A.P. Moller - Maersk. The agreement will contribute to lowering GHG emissions from Maersk’s growing fleet of dual-fuel methanol container vessels. 🥑Back from the IPD buying mission "Avocados" to Kenya! 🇰🇪 Four importers from Germany 🇩🇪 and Spain 🇪🇸 were able to convince themselves of high-quality avocado-producing farms in Kenya. They visited seven avocado producers and packing stations and learnt about the benefits at first hand: 👍 Variety of production setups in different regions providing different characteristics, as well as in general favourable conditions like at the foothills of Mount Kenya, and export expertise of the producers. Sebastian Zeh from lehmann natur GmbH - the German wholesaler and importer of organic and premium organic products , also took part in the buying mission and is very satisfied with the outcome. For more information on IPD's avocado and other fresh produce suppliers, please contact IPD expert Thomas Derstadt
