In the period under review, the maximum allowed petroleum pump prices for Super Petrol, Diesel and Kerosene remain unchanged. Our team completed Public Education & Advocacy Outreach in Kimana and Lenkism Divisions, promoting LPG for a cleaner, safer and more sustainable future. We engaged stakeholders, educated the public - including bodaboda riders and LPG retailers and emphasized safety in handling and storing LPG and petroleum products, licensing compliance, and the transition to clean energy. Today’s forum concludes our 3-day outreach in Loitoktok Sub-County, but we are committed to reaching remote areas nationwide, ensuring all Kenyans have access to the right energy knowledge and resources. #QualityEnergyQualityLife ^DC

Today, we enhanced Public Awareness and Safety in Loitoktok Central and Kimana Divisions in Kajiado County. Our team led by Manager, Public Education and Advocacy, Ms. Bessie Atieno, Senior Public Education Officer Mr. Peter Kikurmet alongside Mr. Patrick Burure, the ACC of Central Division engaged local stakeholders on critical energy issues. Key discussions centered around the illegal importation of LPG through the porous Kenya-Tanzania border, thereby raising concerns on compliance, economic and safety. The team emphasized the importance of safe transportation and handling of LPG products, ensuring that all stakeholders are compliant with national regulations to safeguard the community. They also sensitized the retailers to desist from offering for sale LPG cylinders from brands that are not licensed to operate in the country. The Authority remains steadfast in its commitment to promoting safe and regulated energy practices across the country. Through continuous public education and collaborative efforts, we aim to foster a secure and compliant energy environment for all. #EPRACares #QualityEnergyQualityLife ^DC
