🌍 Connecting Urban Regeneration with SDG Localization 🌱 At our recent event "Urban Regeneration for Localizing the Sustainable Development Goals" at #WUF12, we tackled the urgent need to align sustainable urban regeneration with SDG localization efforts. The discussions were a powerful reminder of how integrated regeneration strategies can address pressing global challenges like inequality, housing shortages, climate impacts, and limited local resources. Through a keynote presentation and a dynamic roundtable, stakeholders from diverse sectors—national and local governments, funding institutions, and researchers—shared innovative practices and financing strategies that advance over 15 SDGs and 45 targets.
