A Bridge of Safety and Hope: Mting'ong'o Bridge is Now Open! We are thrilled to announce the official opening of the Mting'ong'o Bridge, a project made possible by West Kenya Sugar Company Limited in response to a heartfelt request from the community through their MCA. For years, the community faced a critical challenge: the old wooden bridge, which was primarily used by children on their way to school, became increasingly dangerous during the rainy season. With the heavy rains, the bridge often became slippery, and there were unfortunate incidents where children fell into the raging waters. Today, we are proud to say that this new, sturdy bridge will provide safer passage for the children and everyone in the community, especially during the unpredictable rainy months. It’s more than just a bridge—it’s a commitment to the safety, well-being, and future of our community. A big thank you to the local leadership, our dedicated team at the factory, and the community for their collaboration. Together, we've built a safer, stronger connection for everyone.
