#IndustryUpdates 🌍 Africa’s Green Momentum: A Call for Action at #COP29 🌱 At COP29 in Baku, UN Secretary-General António Guterres urged global leaders to support Africa’s #cleanenergy transition, emphasizing that #renewableenergy can drive industrialization, economic growth, and sustainable development across the continent. Despite having 60% of the world’s best solar resources, Africa still lacks access to electricity for 600 million people.There was a call for the fundamental overhaul of the international financial system, urging developed nations to meet #climatefinance commitments and create innovative funding mechanisms.
