About us
The Kenya Flower Council is a private voluntary association of independent growers and exporters of cut-flowers and ornamentals. KFC was formed to foster the responsible and safe production of cut flowers in Kenya while protecting the natural environment and promoting the welfare of all farm staff. KFC was established in 1996 with the purpose of bringing together independent growers and exporters of cut flowers and ornamentals in Kenya. KFC seeks to provide a common platform for these growers and exporters and ensure the implementation of acceptable local and international standards.

KEPHIS holds a training for cut flower growers from the Nairobi region on implementing the system approach protocol .The training focuses on managing False Codling Moth (FCM) to combat interceptions due to FCM thereby promoting compliance with the new European Union regulations and market requirements. This training provides essential knowledge to help growers meet the requirements for exporting cut flowers. This initiative reflects on the KEPHIS's commitment to promoting plant health by preventing the introduction, spread, and establishment of pests and diseases, ensuring safe trade.
