During the recently concluded Teachers Summit, we had the privilege of hosting an insightful session led by Boniface Okumu on Instructional Leadership. He emphasized the critical role that instructional leaders play in shaping the future of education. Key Takeaway: Instructional leaders must be more than just managers—they must be experts and role models for those they lead. By embodying excellence in teaching and learning, they set the standard for their teams, driving better outcomes for students. Inspiring our educators to lead by example and foster a culture of continuous learning and growth was central to Mr. Okumu's message. Leaders who support and mentor their teachers are key to creating transformative classrooms that prepare students for the future.

Positive Discipline in Education: A Game-Changer! During our recent Teachers' Summit, we had the pleasure of hosting Robert Omwa, who led a powerful session on Positive Discipline in the classroom. Robert emphasized the importance of using constructive, respectful approaches to guide student behavior, focusing on building strong relationships, trust, and mutual respect. By reinforcing good behavior rather than punishing mistakes, we create a positive learning environment where students can thrive emotionally and academically. He reminded us that corporal punishment is illegal, not just because of the law, but because it undermines a student's dignity and hinders their growth. Positive discipline, on the other hand, empowers students to make better choices and take responsibility for their actions. Together, let’s embrace positive discipline and make our classrooms safe, nurturing spaces for every child!
